ABOUT ADAM
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience treating patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, group homes, and correctional facilities. I have been practicing within the largest adult psychiatric hospital in Connecticut for the past seven years, where I have helped treat some of the most treatment-resistant cases.

My approach to psychiatric care emphasizes patience, attention to detail, and compassion. I believe that a strong mental health provider listens closely, cares deeply, and offers transparent communication. I’m here to guide you through your mental health journey, helping you adapt as your mental and physical health evolves.
SPECIALTIES
-
Psychiatric Medication Management
-
My philosophy centers on finding the lowest effective dose for psychiatric medications. I provide thorough explanations of the potential risks, side effects, and adverse reactions of each medication. Our goal is to collaborate, working together to find the right treatment plan that addresses your needs without unnecessary side effects.
-
-
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
-
I offer medication management for ADHD, including prescriptions for stimulants such as Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse, and Concerta. Given recent medication shortages, I will work with you to reroute medications without charging extra fees. Stable patients usually require a visit once every three months.
-
-
Medical Marijuana Certification
-
If you qualify for medical marijuana certification, I can assist in evaluating your needs and certifying you as a patient.
-
Additional Specialties:
-
Bipolar Disorder is a mental health condition that causes a person's mood to change a lot. Sometimes, they feel very happy, excited, and full of energy—this is called mania or a manic episode. Other times, they feel really sad, tired, or hopeless—this is called depression or a depressive episode. These mood swings can happen quickly or slowly over time.
-
Psychosis is a condition that makes it hard for a person to tell what’s real and what’s not. When someone has psychosis, they might see, hear, or believe things that aren’t actually there. These are called hallucinations (like hearing voices) or delusions (strong beliefs that aren’t true).
